Accessibility

Built so everyone can belong.

Accessibility is part of how we define belonging — online and in person.

Our commitment

BOLD strives to meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA standards across this website and to make every workshop, event, and program physically and socially accessible.

What we do

  • High color contrast and large, readable type
  • Keyboard-navigable menus and forms with visible focus states
  • Descriptive alt text on images and ARIA labels where needed
  • Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting
  • Plain-language copy free of nonprofit jargon
  • Venues chosen for physical accessibility whenever possible
  • Language accommodations — many of our programs are multilingual by design

Need a different format?

If you need a document, web page, or program made available in a different format — large print, audio, translation, ASL, or anything else — please let us know. We treat accommodation requests as a priority, not an add-on.

Feedback

We're constantly improving. If something on this site isn't working for you, please tell us so we can fix it.
